And that definitely did a disservice to the overall reading experience because I dragged my feet through the first hundred pages, putting it down, going on twitter, playing with the cat, until I hit a turning point and then demolished the rest. Because despite how much I thought I remembered, because it's stuck with me as I loved it so much, it took me way way too long to get back into this world. I'm going to start out by saying that unless you remember the events of THE MERCIFUL CROW really really well, you might want to reread it before diving into this one. ![]()
